Universal milling machine operation procedures

1.To wear tight protective clothing before operation,fasten the cuff,it is forbidden to wear gloves.Take a helmet and goggles to avoid scrap iron splashing and damaging eyes.It must be installed baffle aroud the universal milling machine to isolate the operation area.

2.Drafting an clamping method before claming the workpiece.To avoid damaging the workbench.

3.When the Workbench moves,checking all the fastening screws should be open, when the workbench does not move ,fastening screws should be tight

4.When the cutter was loading or unloading, should maintain the cleanness of milling cutter with cone and cone hole, and the clamping should be firm. Wearing protective glasses when it was high speed cutting. Workbench are not allowed to be stacked tools, spare parts and other things, pay attention to the distance of the cutting tool and workpiece, to prevent collision accident.

5.Checking whether the cutter tools are in good condition, before it was assembled , cutter should be installed as close to the main shaft ,then commissioning after packed. Install artifacts should be strong.

6.It should be feeding with the hand, and then gradually automatic feeding when it was working.Automatic feeding operation, pull open the handwheel, pay attention to whether the limit stop is firm, It is not allowed to be on the head,and don’t go to two extreme and screw crashed.Using quick trip, collision check in advance whether it will wait for a phenomenon, so as not to touch the bad parts, milling cutter cataclastic flew from cuts.

7.When cutting and machining parts,it doesn’t allowed to touch the blade with hands.Measuring and checking the workpiece must stop the milling machine, not allowed to adjust the workpiece when cutting.

8.Before spindle stoped , you must first stop the feed. If the cutting depth is larger, the blade should be parking, when hanging wheel must cut off power supply , wheel clearance should be appropriate, hanging wheel rack back mother should be tight to avoid dropping; Processing speed wouldn’t be too fast and would choose the right turning and feeding.

9.The mechanic to repair. After working,you should clean it and turn off the power.
